Privacy
This explains what Andy Kemp Photography collects when you use this site and what happens to it.
What we collect
- Orders: your name, email, phone number (optional) and delivery address, plus what you bought. We need these to fulfil your order and keep accounting records.
- Payments: card details go straight to Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store them.
- Messages: your name, email and message when you use the contact form.
- Gift vouchers: your name and email, and the name, email and message for the person it's for, so we can send it to them.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up in the footer.
How long we keep it
Order and gift voucher records are kept for six years for tax purposes. Contact messages are deleted after two years. Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe.
Newsletter
If you sign up, you'll get an occasional email when new photos or stories go up. We only use your email for that. Every email has a way to unsubscribe, or you can ask us to remove you at any time.
Who we share it with
- Stripe, to take payments
- Our email provider, to send order emails
- Our print lab and Royal Mail, to make and deliver prints
- Cloudflare, which hosts this site
We don't sell your data or use it for marketing without your consent.
Cookies
This site doesn't use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies, so there's no cookie banner. The only things stored on your device are strictly necessary for the site to work:
- Your basket is kept in your own browser's storage, so it's still there if you come back. It never leaves your device until you check out.
- Stripe, our payment provider, sets cookies on the checkout and gift voucher pages to prevent card fraud.
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site, may set a cookie to protect the contact form from spam and the site from attacks.
You can clear these at any time in your browser settings. The shop will still work, but your basket will be emptied.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email hello@andykemp.photography. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
